  • Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with Sleepyhead, including alarm settings, interactions with other users, and pages visited. This data helps us improve the App’s performance and user experience.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access Sleepyhead, such as the device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
  • Location Information: With your permission, we may collect your device’s location to provide location-based features and personalize your experience.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and Improve the App: We use your information to deliver the core functionality of Sleepyhead, personalize your experience, and improve the App’s features and performance.
  • Alarm Delivery: We use your alarm settings and voice recordings to deliver personalized wake-up messages at your scheduled times.
  • User Interactions: We facilitate communication and interactions between users, including the exchange of voice messages and chats (for premium users).
  • Moderation: We may review voice messages to ensure they comply with our community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Analytics: We analyze usage data to understand how users interact with Sleepyhead, identify trends, and make informed decisions about future development.
  • Communication: We may use your email address to send you important updates, notifications, or promotional materials related to Sleepyhead. You can opt out of these communications at any time.

  • Voice Messages: Your recorded voice messages are shared with the intended recipients (other users who have scheduled alarms).
  • Public Profiles: Certain information in your profile, such as your display name, country, and “About Me” section, may be visible to other users.
  • Moderators and Administrators: Our moderators and administrators may access your voice recordings and profile information for moderation purposes and to ensure the smooth operation of the App.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may engage trusted third-party service providers to assist us in operating and maintaining Sleepyhead. These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.  
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.  

Data Deletion

If you would like to delete any of the data relevant to you on Sleepyhead, please email us at help@heysleepyhead.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”  

Your Choices

  • Profile Information: You can review and update your profile information at any time through the App’s settings.
  • Voice Recordings: You can delete your recorded voice messages through the App.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your Sleepyhead account through the App’s settings. Please note that this will permanently erase your data from our servers.
  • Notifications: You can manage your notification preferences through the App’s settings.
  • Location Information: You can control whether we collect your location information through your device’s settings.

Children’s Privacy

Sleepyhead is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

  • Voice Messages: The voice messages you record will be shared with the specific users who have requested wake-up calls.
  • Reviews: Any reviews you leave for other users or receive from them will be visible to other users.

Please be mindful of the information you choose to share on Sleepyhead, as it may be visible to other users within the app’s community. You can adjust your privacy settings to control the visibility of certain information.
